Anne-Louise Sterry is performing in Cabaret! An eclectic mix of stand-out, brief acts. This is not a talent show, but a curated performance featuring significantly accomplished, experienced performers.
There will be 8-10 performances. Artists will be showcasing all kinds of talents, such as poetry, dance, circus, comedy/clowns, music, flow art, storytellers, comedians, burlesque, puppeteers, and more!

Coffeehouse Showcase
Live at Artichoke Music on Thursday, May 11th, 2023
The Thursday Night Coffeehouse is a celebration of up to four local and touring artists coming together in an intimate, coffeehouse setting, at the venerable Artichoke Community Music. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear artists of all levels in a listening room setting.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:00 pm.
Beer, wine, soft drinks, and light snacks are available for purchase at the bar.
Anne-Louise Sterry is one of four local Portland performing artists being showcased. Other artists in the lineup include Marianne Flemming, Michael Henchman, and Gary Furlow.

How about dat! Life is full of surprising and confusing moments. All the amazing ways that we are awed, amazed, and astonished by people, and what they decide to do!
Some struggles leave us exhausted, some invigorated. Not to mention the natural world with it’s 50 foot waves, and the quiet of a hummingbird both entrancing us. In the end, with a little perspective, we can see how they fit in with the whole, and we might say, “How about dat?!”
Three seasoned storytellers bring their own ‘How About Dat!’ moments to life on the Artichoke Cafe Stage. Come prepared to laugh, be amazed, and perhaps to ask, ’Did that really happen?!’ Buckle up, it’ll be a wild ride!
